Being part of theGreenspider isn’t just for us at Spider HQ, we’d love for you to get involved too. We’re building a community of like minded individuals and organisations, interested in helping to build a better world through the manufacture, promotion and use of eco products and services.

There’s plenty more to come with MySpider, in fact we’ve got more ideas than time to develop them! Change your Background Colour

Choose from one of seven different background colours – just not white. Not only can you change this to suit your mood or preference, you can also be safe in the knowledge that on CRT, Plasma and LED LCD screens or forthcoming OLED screens these will all save more energy than using a standard white background. Help us calculate our Energy Savings

Every type of monitor uses varying amounts of energy depending on the background colour, the more information we can gain about which monitors our members are using the more accurately we can calculate our energy savings. Signing up for a MySpider account allows you to select the monitor type you use.
